Maya Lin: Systematic Landscape

Maya Lin's Systematic Landscape is very appealing to the eye. This collection is simple but it is also interesting once you know the meaning of the art. Maya Lin made this to give a visual representation of the earth, specifically hills and waves. Maya used thousands of  construction grade wood 2 x 4's and placed them on their ends. She then assembled them at increasing heights creating the hill or wave-like artwork. This piece of art is aesthetically pleasing to me and Maya Lin really captured the landscape theme of this project.
