I chose Ai Weiwei's zodiac heads because I thought that they were the most memorable of all of his more famous works. The zodiac heads reminds me of "The Lord of The Flies" and the beast that represents all of the evil that man is capable of. I also liked the cultural influence on his work and how he does the Chinese zodiac animals rather than the astrology zodiac figures. This also reminds me of the heads on stakes when the protagonist meets the character of interest in "The Heart of Darkness". Either way I think that the heads on stakes is a primitive and relatively unnerving display of culture and art.
