During a brief research of Maya Lin's work I found a body of work titled Garden of Perception. I immediately became a fan of this body of work when I realized that she created a piece that appeals to all five senses. This is rather interesting because many sculptures are most often visually appealing. However, the Garden of Perception, that can be found at the University of California, was made to the encapsulate the personality of their school of art. Lastly, I love that Lin decided to create something that exemplify all the the areas of art and not just one aspect.
