Wayne Thiebaud, "Cakes," 1963. National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C

I don't think I like Wayne Thiebaud. I learned from reading about his pieces that a lot of the paintings he does is from memory, which I respect and find impressive. Nevertheless, I think the pictures are boring; they remind me of something that I'd find in a doctor's office.
