Two Paint Cans

I chose Two Paint Cans by Wayne Thiebaud because it was the first one that I came across that made me stop and really look at it. I love how he captured the reflectiveness of the metal cans with simple colored streaks on gray. I also like the open dripping paint can because it makes me think of the imperfection and messiness of art. This is a painting that I would love to have in my home.
