My favorite sculptures are abstract, therefore, I am inspired by David Smith to create geometric abstract sculptures. I like how he seamlessly connects the geometric shapes in aesthetically pleasing manner. I like how his work is simple but still interesting. The layering forms create a final piece that captures the viewers' attention. I want to copy some of his sculptures but add my own twist to them, using clay as my medium instead of steel.
