Wayne Thiebaud

Wayne Thiebaud is an American painter widely known for his colorful works depicting commonplace objects such as pies, lipsticks, paint cans, ice cream cones, pastries, and hot dogs. He is also known for  his landscapes and figure paintings. I choose this work because the detail is all there and it makes the painting stand out.
